Jaideep Singh from Star Plus show ‘Faltu’ talks about shooting in Rajasthan

Actor Jaideep Singh has been a part of various projects, like Ishq par zor nahi, Pavitra Bhagya and Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, among others. Currently, he is seen playing a prominent role in the show Faltu.

Jaideep essays the role of Faltu's father, Charan Singh, and his performance is loved by the audience. Charan Singh's mindset is different from the villagers and what stands out is his thought process. 

The cast and crew of the show shooted in Rajasthan initially and had a great time together. 

Shooting schedule in Rajasthan was amazing. It felt nostalgic and it was also a very encouraging and warm feeling to shoot in Rajasthan. However, weather was a challenge to shoot but we had a great time together.

Sharing the experience of shooting in Rajasthan, Jaideep says, "Shooting schedule in Rajasthan was amazing. It felt nostalgic and it was also a very encouraging and warm feeling to shoot in Rajasthan. However, weather was a challenge to shoot but we had a great time together. The food, the people and the experience of living in Rajasthan will stay with me forever. This show gave me an opportunity to feel like locals in a rural set-up."

When asked about any striking experience in Rajasthan, Jaideep says, "While shooting for the sequence in which 'Faltu' is born, everyone is upset on the set but an old lady comes to me and says, "Theyy Toh Sach Mein Chori Ke Baap Jiyan Laad Karo Ho" (You really look like a loving father to your daughter) and it moved me. Later, I found that she was the owner of the haveli where we were shooting. I had a great bond with her till the last day and I used to call her Maa-saa."
