Zee TV’s Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile is gearing up for a major turning point as the story takes a dramatic and unexpected twist. It is revealed that the morphed pictures used to blackmail Raghav, played by Bharat Ahlawwat, were created by Keerti, portrayed by Gouri Agarwal. This revelation shifts the narrative and places Keerti at the centre of the conflict. Introduced as a completely positive character, Keerti’s journey now reflects how emotional betrayal and broken promises can push someone into morally grey territory.

From Positivity to a Darker Path

Keerti’s transformation adds a new layer of intensity to the show. Her character, once driven by hope and trust, now reflects obsession and emotional turmoil. Such a shift from pure positivity to darker emotions is rarely explored on television, making Keerti’s arc more gripping.

Gouri Agarwal, who essays the role, shared her thoughts on portraying this change. She said, “I can’t say I relate to her, but I do understand where Keerti is coming from. Keerti was promised marriage and many other things, and on the most important day of her life, the wedding day, she was left all alone while the groom, Raghav, married someone else. Keerti’s character was initially filled with positivity; it is the situation that has turned her into an obsessive lover.”

I have heard a lot about female characters being obsessive lovers, but the one who impressed me the most was Priyanka Chopra’s character Sonia in Aitraaz.

Inspiration Behind the Obsessive Lover Arc

Talking about her inspiration for portraying an obsessive lover on screen, Gouri admitted that strong and layered female characters have always fascinated her. She explained that while many such characters exist, one that truly stood out for her was Priyanka Chopra’s role in Aitraaz. Gouri said, “I have heard a lot about female characters being obsessive lovers, but the one who impressed me the most was Priyanka Chopra’s character Sonia in Aitraaz. I always wanted to play such a character. Of course, my character isn’t driven by overt glamour like Sonia; Keerti’s appeal lies in her emotional depth and understated confidence, but I am a huge fan of Priyanka’s speaking style and the way she enacted the role in Aitraaz. It is on my bucket list to play a character like Sonia. As I said, Keerti is not like Sonia, but I am glad I got the opportunity to explore a few shades of it.”

Explosive Drama Ahead

Hinting at what viewers can expect next, Gouri revealed that Keerti’s obsession will push her to extreme limits in the upcoming episodes. She said, “Keerti is going to cross many boundaries to have Raghav back in her life. She will be doing things that will shock viewers.” This phase promises intense drama as Keerti’s emotional desperation drives her actions.

As Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile moves ahead, Keerti’s unpredictable behaviour and emotional intensity are set to keep audiences engaged. Her journey highlights the darker, more complex shades of love, adding depth and tension to the unfolding story.
