'It's Not Engagement': Dad Rubbishes Reports; While Rana Daggubati Releases Engagement Photos

Rana Daggubati recently introduced his girlfriend Miheeka Bajaj to the world by posting a photo with her on his social media. Now, the Baahubali star has shared another picture which looks like it's taken during their engagement ceremony and wrote alongside, "And It's Official'.

In the photo, both Rana and Miheeka can be seen dressed up in traditional outfits and are all smiles for the cameras. It looks like a candid picture where Rana is seen waving at someone while Miheeka blushes besides him.

Soon after Rana shared this picture, congratulatory messages and wishes for the couple started pouring in and everyone felt that the couple got engaged in an intimate ceremony with just their families in presence amid lockdown!

However, his father and ace producer, Daggubati Suresh Babu has rubbished all reports and stated that it was not an engagement ceremony but sort of a Roka (where both the families meet and officially confirm the relationship of the couple and the wedding) and both the families discussed the pre-wedding and post-wedding functions!

Dismissing the reports, Suresh Babu said that both the families had convened a formal meeting to finalize the suspicious date for Rana and Miheeka’s engagement and marriage.

“It’s not an engagement. Our families sat together on Wednesday to discuss what all has to be done for the pre and post-wedding functions. It’s a ritual among the Telugus to meet the bride’s parents before fixing the engagement and wedding dates. We are happy to take these alliance talks forward,” says Suresh Babu.
