"It's my personal choice of whom to talk with.": Devoleena Bhattacharjee

 

Our informer from the sets tells us, "The actress is reporting late on the sets and when the shot is ready, she still takes half an hour to come from her make-up room which is delaying the whole schedule."

 

The source further adds: "Once the scene is over, Devoleena checks it and if she feels that it has not come out the way she wants, the actress asks to re-shoot the whole scene. Also we have seen that Gopi bahu is not on talking terms with the girl who plays Meera as she doesn't feel that attachment."

 

We called up Devoleena to confront the rumors and clarifying about the same she says, "I don't know who's giving you all this news. It is all rubbish and I'm the one actor who is always on time on the sets. Even if I know that I'll be late for ten minutes, I call up the production people and inform them. They revert back saying that no problem but whenever you reach on the sets, please get ready."

 

Talking about the re-shoot, she explains, "There has been no re-shoot at all. Thank god that I'm blessed with the skills that I don't have to shoot again the same scene. It's not only with me but with all the actors who don't have to re-shoot. About not talking to the girl who is playing Meera currently, well it's my personal choice of whom to talk with."

 

Devoleena further says that she bonded well with the earlier child artists who played the character of Meera so after their exit from the show she prefers to stay away from the child actors as she feels bad, "My work schedule is stressed. I don't have so much time to go and talk with everyone on the sets. This is the third Meera in the show and she is very new to me. I've bonded with the previous two Meera's very well and when I had to leave them, I felt very bad and thus I decided that I would not be very close to anyone. Actually I love kids but when they go away, you feel very sad."

 
Stating the reason for the rumors, Devoleena says that people are jealous of her and are trying to ruin her image, "To tell you frankly when you are climbing the ladder of success, there are people who are jealous of you. They try to destroy your image and this is what has happened with me. Thus you are getting to hear all these rumours which are baseless."
