Imagine and BBC join hands for a grueling reality show for girls, tentatively titled Desi Girl..

BBC and Imagine will join hands to give viewers a show that will require the celebrities to stay in a remote village and get going with the tasks that are provided to them. The show is tentatively titled 'Desi Girl'.

According to our source, "The show will see 8-9 celebrities (all girls) taking part in it. The shoot will happen in a village near Chandgarh. The crew is supposed to start shoot in few days' time".

"Celebrities like Monica Bedi, Sambhavna Seth, Rakhi Sawant, Payal Rohtagi, Roshni Chopra, Karishma Tanna, Kashmera Shah have been approached for the show", adds our source.

However, we hear that Karishma Tanna will not be taking up the show. Kashmera Shah too might not take it up due to prior commitments.

Rakhi Sawant told us that she is not doing such a show. Monica Bedi and Payal Rohatgi refused to comment.

Imagine had earlier come up with a concept, Pati Patni aur Woh that required a couple to raise a kid from their infancy to adulthood.

What's with NDTV imagine and all the crappy Reality shows? Are they trying to scare us by showing us the real faces of these actresses? Seriously! i think they should stick to Ekta-Kapoor business at least that way housewives are enjoying themselves. well crying most of the time but you get my meaning.
