It's CONFIRMED! Star Dopahar to SHUT on September 30!

Star Plus is all set to shut down their Star Dopahar section that they had launched a few months ago with great pomp. And no prizes for guessing the reason - their TRP game is not strong.

Out of the four shows that were launched - Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka, Dhhai Kilo Prem, Ek Aastha Aise Bhii and Tu Sooraj Mai Saanjh Piyaji, Tu Sooraj... was shifted to the evening slot of 7 pm after Saath Nibhana Saathiya ended. And soon enough, Love Ka Hai Intezaar was granted a place in the afternoon slot.

And if the TRP charts are to be believed, the afternoon slot shows are doing good as per the afternoon TRP calculation, but looks like these numbers are not enough for the channel.

The channel has now taken a call to shut down all the shows and as per reports, the last date for all the shows to wrap up is September 30.

The producers of the shows also confirmed the news to the media.
