On one hand where Star Plus is gearing up for two new shows coming up next month, it also has the much-talked about Ekta Kapoor's supernatural thriller in the pipeline. And when it comes to Sony TV, the channel will also be associating with Ekta after a long time for the Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham remake and the channel has several other fiction shows coming soon.

The first one in the current line-up of Sony TV to go off-air is none other than popular supernatural thriller show, Ek Deewaana Tha.

The show, as we know, was always supposed to be a finite series and it has managed to do decently on the rating charts as well as compared to the channel's usual performance.

Recently, we reported about how the Namik Paul-Donal Bisht-Vikram Singh Chauhan went through a major change owing to the reincarnation track and even saw the introduction of Shivani Surve.

We also reported about Shivani's character is about to end and was always intended to be a cameo.

The show is slated to go shut shop by the end of May 2018.
