An actor, always seen on television as a part of serials, will be seen as a host for the first time, is it? “It as an amazing experience. Although I have anchored a show on Zee earlier, but it was a very low-profile show, so I would say this is the first time I am hosting a reality show. I am very nervous though, as it is quite a big responsibility but it is a learning experience for me too.”

Sharad will be sharing screen space with three of the biggest names of cinema, who are the jury members for the show. So how does the actor feel about that? “I was very nervous. I have grown up watching Tanujaji’s movies, so I was very apprehensive when I met her for the first time. It is an honor for me to share the stage with such renowned film actors.”

So with Sharad shooting for Rock-N-Roll family, does it mean that the shooting of Saat Phere be hampered? “No”, replies Sharad, “my shooting of Saat Phere will not get affected at all. For this show, I have to shoot 16 episodes and the director will just tell me when I have to shoot for it, so I can keep that day free accordingly.”

When quizzed about the TRPs and popularity of Saat Phere dropping down, Sharad says, “Yeah the ratings of Saat Phere had dropped. But that was a few months back, we are now picking up on that again. I think that occurred more because Nahar and Saloni were not together. The audience loves seeing them together, and now that they are back, we are gaining the same popularity again.”

Well the audience loved Sharad as Nahar. Now it waits to be seen if he’s appreciated in the persona of an anchor too.
