its a nice show...there were some very chilling experiences which, along with sandhya even the audience had experienced----------this show will be long remembered

Exactly niruba. This show was about Sooraj and Sandhya's journey, not how they will please bhabo everytime. It was about how a halwai and an IPS officer can transform family, transform society, not for them to fall in the clutter created by Bhabo. IPS is not Rathi's home's backyard where every memo is delivered to Sandhya at her home and Bhabo has to be privy of what she does as an IPS officer. Support of husband was not he doing her job, but concentrating on his job properly and going high professionally with her support which is not again she making jalebis. I don't think any real life couple who has genuinely supported each other in career can connect with Sooraj, Sandhya and their idiosyncracies. DABH was watched by intelligent audience. CVs thought they can fool the intelligent audience and get away. End result is what they see now. Bottom at the slot. People can call us haters or detractors. But what they don't understand is the pain we feel when each so called twist brings DABH to a new low. And if we hadn't felt that pain we wouldn't have commented. There are n shows which I have watched and left watching after sometime. Why coming back again on DABH and commenting. Because of the attachment I still have with it.

I'm with you shruthi, replying in support of you...there is no show, No any show can come close to the first two or three years of DABH when it was in line with its theme... A not so educated husband fighting against all odds to make his wife an IPS... That journey was too beautiful, And only because of it we are still here commenting for the show...those days DABH is unbeatable in terms of TRP too...so much gap there was between DABH and the second placed show...

But what comes after that was dissapointing, half baked investigation tracks, glorification of bhabo ( I think this is where SP n SSP went wrong thinking that this show can feed audience like SNS ; but it didn't work as much) and all this plots sidelined the character of Suraj rathi who was actually the main inspiration for the show.

The really low trp stint for this show started when they introduced season 2 by adding new characters and completely changed the theme... this is one show which the audience did not accept the new generation unlike other SP shows like sns yhm and yrk where it is still doing good with new additions...a lesson to be learned from this is...End the show at the right time...second don't drag or make changes to your theme by looking at other shows because you are not going to get new audience and at the same time you are going to lose your loyal audience...

I have watched this show continuously for 3 years without missing a episode. It was a masterpiece with TRPs soaring high because of the inspirational character of the male protoganist. But post IPS it was simple saas-bahu with logicless , brain less things in the name of investigation thrown in. We had an IPS officer whose family had a rapist, baby swapper, a murderer. Rapist died thankfully. But Bhabo is blemishless or the script will make Bhabo blemishless. DABH is on top because of what it achieved in the first 3 years with Sooraj Rathi. After that TRPs has been dwindling. Show gives one regressive message after other.
On one side we are discussing the murder of Infosys techie Swathi and once again the debate of romanticizing stalking in South Cinema has surfaced . DABH has done the same. Romanticizing domestic violence. It is fine to look and enjoy the way Sandhya suffers humiliation and treat her as adarsh bahu and adarsh patni whatever. But when you endure it, you will understand the impact of such shows. I don't know whether it is ending. But one thing I know is that the length of duration of the show doesn't define its quality. It content does. Else people would not be still wanting to watch the shows of DD times which didn't ran for years and years but had solid content.
Now from TRP per se show is at the bottom in the slot with a huge margin among top 3 GEC channels. I am not sure how long SP will entertain a show at bottom in a prime slot like 9pm.

I really wonder what do people get out of writing shit like ' glad this is ending' or end it soon.
logically every show has to end one day. One show cannot run forever ofcourse, But even if Dabh ends or not, Fact remains it has achieved which other shows cannot even dream of,
Its hugely popular worldwide, Has been the no 1 show with the highest trp for the longest of time.Still going strong by maintaining its position in the top 10 ... Has won awards, accolades and what not ...Recently created a history when a street in Pushkar was named Hanuman Gali ( a fictional street turned into real one)
DABH , even when about to complete 5 years maintains the most logical , realistic storyline.It has got variety of tracks ( no other show has so many tracks) the relationship between suraj sandhya is million dollar. Its definately not a saas bahu show, ( viewers who watch it know it well) ,It has got every element that a show needs...but mainly its a beautiful journey of a wonderful couple Suraj Sandhya
Other shows even if born a million times can't become DABH :) haters are jealous ,maybe because their fav shows cud not even achieve quarter of what our show has :)
When u dont watch a show , how do u even get time commenting on it ..Please GET A LIFE seriously.

They didn't show Sandhya leaving her job just to make sweets in Suraj's shop. :)
Sandhya knows the value and importance of an IPS officer very well that's why she resigned instead of taking a long break. She couldn't have left the post vacant, she said there are many good officers who could take this post right now and she can't let it vacant just because of that. Suraj needed while he was paralysed... Of course the other family members could have helped too, but this is about something else. Many times she chose her duty over family and I supported her then... :) There are times in life when you took a decision based on an unfortunate situation, you think with your heart. There are many people who resigned from their jobs to provide moral support to their families during bad times. This is how different people react in different situations... knowing that the family is there may be helpful, but until you provide moral support directly you won't feel it was worth it.
Anyway, congrats for the baby girl. It is always nice to see them together, to see another little angel in the family. :)
DABH is one of the few shows with many good tracks. It has its own flaws, but still... Of course people who don't watch it may not agree with my POV... There are sensitive aspects in the show, that's why we can't analyse it superficially. Every show has an ending one day... Don't know about the show ending, but it is better than many other shows, every track has a moral and it provides positivity. SurYa still bring a smile on my face whenever I watch their scenes. Plus the cast is very dedicated and hardworking and they are doing a fabulous job in the show. :)
