"Bawree had come up with a new collection of Lehengas and other traditional attires. I was the showstopper at the event and I had walked the ramp for the new collections of Lehengaas. The collection was really awesome. The best part of my entire experience of walking the ramp was that I always wanted to become a model but because of my height I never got that chance. It was my dream to walk the ramp and as a celebrity, being the showstopper for the event made me feel even more special. Also, I am very closely associated to Bawree because I always used to buy clothes from there. Not only now when I am a celebrity but also otherwise."
Go On...
"When I entered the stage, they had arranged a quiz contest and all those who answered the questions right from the audience were presented with a hamper. I really felt good (chuckles)."
In this modern time, do you think sarees have gone out of trend?
"I feel considering the controversy around crop tops, I am glad that sarees have not become somewhat controversial. Sarees have and continued to be the most elegant outfit and also there is something very regal and princely about our Indian outfits."
Well, the actress surely looked very happy and all excited about her experience of walking the ramp. We wish this lasso all the luck for her future endeavors.
