"It was also very interesting for me as an actor to learn the language, I got a lot fluent" - Regina

Actor Regina Cassandra is currently winning hearts owing to her role in the series, Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke on Zee5. The action-packed patriotic saga is led by a fantastic ensemble cast, the show continues to rise in numbers.

In an interview, we had Cassandra coming in and talk about the several things.

Which one was the most difficult scene from the show?

There was time when we used to shoot till 3 o'clock in the morning and must come back at 11:00 or 12:00 in the afternoon and shoot again and it was hectic shoot. But we came out with flying colors not just me but the entire team there is not only one scene which I will point and say that it was very difficult. The way Mr. Mukherjee shoots, he is very particular about his masters. Sometimes it was hectic, but it was fun as well. It was also very interesting for me as an actor to learn the language, I got a lot fluent with this stuff.

From mainstream regional movies to OTT transition what are you focusing more on now?

Personally, for me balancing is something which I haven’t focused on only OTT. Ever since I started, I always delivered in Tamil, Telugu and I was always run a balance work here and there. So, I think the balancing is something I would like to do. 

What as per you sets OTT apart?

Every platform is unique in its way and any medium through which any of these things come out maybe a film or a show or may be theater for that matter.  I think everything is unique for that matter and OTT is basically reaching a wider audience which my movies couldn't also reach and that's one thing I am very grateful to OTT.  It has for sure given a lot of actors and technicians who probably finding it tough to get work now it's lot easier for them to get work. It's open up a lot of avenues for everyone in the industry.

Any memorable incident from the show that you would like to share?

When anybody says memorable incident it revolves around having food. It’s one of those shows in which I have enjoyed having lunches and dinners be it with my core team or my staff. So I guess food is one thing on which all of us bonded over so that's a big memory for me from this show.
