“It takes one and a half hours to get ready as Tetra in Baalveer,” says Anupama Kuwar

Baalveer Season 3 is here and fans of the show have already started enjoying its fresh story and cast. Actress Anupama Kuwar who plays the role of warrior Tetra from Himbaash Lok loves to play her character in this particular costume drama.  

Talking about getting into her character’s skin Anupama said, “It takes almost one and a half hours in the morning to get ready with make-up, hair and costumes. I am playing a warrier in the show, so my costume is designed in such a way that once you wear it, normal movements become very difficult. I also have a neckpiece in my warrier look which even restricts normal neck movement. And I have to do all the fight scenes with all this on me as my character requires it.  I even drink less water while shooting so I don’t need to use the restroom frequently and mess up with my look.”  

While describing more about her look Anupama said, “If you have seen Baalveer my hair is also not normal, I have Jata in my hairstyle. It's kind of knotted hair. I even have to wear a headband which adds an extra ‘X’ factor to my look. On top of this, I even have a migraine issue, so sometimes it causes headaches too (she laughs). However, Whatever the discomfort, I am really enjoying this and feel blessed.”  

Anupama who plays Tetra the warrier from Himbaash Lok in Baalveer is sometimes sent to earth for a mission as a human being. But again, she must maintain the right body posture as an inner worrier and for this she gives credit to her gym training.

Kuwar is a well-known actress in the television and digital world, who has worked in shows like Qubool Hai, CID, Aahat, etc but Baalveer is her first costume drama. She is best known for her role in Virgin Boys, Zindagi Tumse etc web series.
