Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii on Colors is one of the much-loved shows on the channel and in fact, is also an all-time TRP topper. While Rubina Dilaik as Soumya has vowed one and all, Vivian Dsena as Harman has done complete justice to his role as well.
When quizzed Vivian about how the show has almost never left the TRP charts, he said, "It feels great, I think all the hard work put in collectively is showing and it is a team effort, everyone is working really hard, the production to the creatives and everyone else. It is those team efforts that had paid off."
We asked him how we have seen a gradual evolution of his character and also about his experience, to which he said, "So far so good. The first thing I kept in mind was keeping myself in the character and eventually, I have to behave like that. If I think like a human being, which is rarely acceptable in our society, I think it is impossible for a normal man to fall in love with a transgender which is why I think what Harman thinks and not what Vivian thinks or what my creative sight thinks."
Talking about how the basic plot of the show often does take a back seat, he quipped, "See of course a show on television particularly is not made by catching just one particular mood, it requires all the spices of life and for Indians especially, you've got to have some spice, be it food or entertainment which is why we keep changing the spice nearly about in a week's time or more and keep shifting as there are other characters as well on which we have to focus as the writers cannot be biased towards Harman and Soumya only."
