It feels like homecoming for me: Gautam Ahuja of ‘Appnapan… Badalte Rishton ka Bandhan’

Sony Entertainment Television is geared up to offer an intriguing watch for its viewers with its promising new family drama ‘Appnapan… Badalte Rishton ka Bandhan’. Shedding light on the dilemma and complexities in relationships, the show brings forth the story of an estranged couple – Pallavi and Nikhil who are also single parents. With Pallavi and Nikhil journeying away from each other, what remains to be seen is if fate's play brings them back together, on the same road once again. Starring popular actors Cezanne Khan and Rajshree Thakur in the lead roles, the show is all set to premiere on 15th June every Monday to Friday at 10 pm. Joining the cast of the show in a pivotal role will be the extremely talented actor, Gautam Ahuja. 

Former child artist, Gautam Ahuja has charmed his way to the audience’s hearts with his performance across television shows, web series and films. And, once again the young lad is all set to impress the audience with his performance in the upcoming family drama ‘Appnapan… Badalte Rishton ka Bandhan’, where he will be seen portraying the character of Gagan, Barkha’s (Rajshree Thakur) younger son. Being a teenager, Gagan is easily swayed by peer pressure, and not afraid to bend and even break the rules. While he loves his siblings and family, but most of his decisions and opinions are largely always driven by what he wants, and not by what his family wants or is good for the family. 

Excited to be a part of this show, an elated Gautam Ahuja shared, "Being an actor truly gives me joy. The dynamic nature of this profession is the best part and this truly excites me as it gives me the opportunity to play so many varied roles. Getting under the skin of my character  thrills me because I get to be someone different each time. Since, I am at the start of my career I want to learn more at every phase of my life and I will put in my 100%  so that I can hone my acting skills. When I was narrated the story of Appnapan and about my character Gagan, not only did I find the story interesting but the character too. What excites me about playing Gagan, even more, is that he is nothing like me. He usually is the king of his own heart and quite unscrupulous, breaking rules to benefit himself. He wants his life to have all the materialistic pleasures that his immediate family cannot offer. Challenging for sure; I can’t wait to put in my best to bring this character to life. Plus, it feels like homecoming for me with this show as Balaji Telefilms has contributed majorly in my career and I am elated to start this new journey with them. Hope, the audience enjoy me in this new avatar.”
