Ishqbaaz director Lalit Mohan confirms bagging Jennifer Winget starrer Beyhad 2!

All your prayers have been answered and Sony TV’s superhit thriller show Beyhad is back with it’s second installment. The first season of the show featured Jennifer Winget and Kushal Tandon as the lead pair and was a story about an obsessive lover. Viewers loved the storyline, the chemistry between actors and especially Jennifer’s portrayal of the character Maya. Producer Prateek Sharma and Jennifer herself confirmed the news with fans on social media a few days ago. However the male lead opposite her is yet to be finalized but Shivin Narang, Siddhant Karnick and Rohit Suchanti’s names were being speculated for the role.

The latest we hear is that, director of Star Plus’ popular show Ishqbaaz, Lalit Mohan has bagged Beyhad 2. When we contacted him, he confirmed the news with us and shared his excitement saying, “I’m thankful to Prateek Sharma and Sony TV that they have chosen me to direct Beyhadh 2. I’m thrilled to direct this thriller.”

Further speaking about the pressure of directing the show he said, “I don’t feel the pressure of last installment of beyhadh’s success, rather I’m focusing and putting all my energy on Beyhad 2.”

For the uninitiated, Lalit Mohan has been a part of many superhit shows like Qubool Hai, iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? And Bidaai, and has also directed Karanvir Bohra’s debut film Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna.
