Is Salim Khan REGRETTING for apologising on Salman's behalf?

Salman Khan and controversy walk hand-in-hand. While his other issues have dissolved long back, it seems his recent altercation is not going to end anytime soon.

Salman Khan made a frivolous statement during his 'Sultan' interviews and it landed him in a big mess.

Looking at the sensitivity of the issues, his father Salim Khan came forward and apologized on his behalf. But, Salman instead of clearing the air, kept mum and also started ignoring the media. Following which the matter went out of proportion.

Now, Salim Khan has released few more statements regretting his previous apology because he is upset with how the media has taken the issue to the "saturation point". He feels that he had apologized with a hope that it would put an end to the problems that surfaced. But, instead of vanishing it got more worse.

"Normally people apologise to get rid of the problem but I meant it hoping that the problem would be over. What is the meaning of getting an apology from a person under the guillotine, who knows rightly or wrongly that he has not committed a crime."

"But the commercial compulsion of the media wanted to carry it to the saturation point. I regret not knowing this." he tweeted.

LOL look at how articles are still being posted on this same shitty controversy. I do hope that his father is regretting apologizing as Salman Khan didn't really go and actually raped someone. Desis have double standards issue and Since this site is so keen to continue this rape issue till his movie releases. Then this news on Why Salman Khan does need to apologize article must also be posted here. Incase you guys need help in your research, I'll help you with the article.

This is not the first time he apologised on behalf of Salman! Toh iss baar regret kyun? Sultan promotion successful raha ab plz shut up now! Bored of this drama!!
Waise bhi ye drama kuch der tak hai jaise movie release hui log bhul jayenge!
Kaash log rape cases pe itna dhyan dete! Sucha shame how a lil girl got raped in Bihar few days ago and no one is talking about it!
This shows how much celebs are worshipped there and get all the unnecessary attention!!
Rape cases ke baare mein log itna waqt barbaad nahi karte jitna ke iss Salman ke commment pe kiya gaya! BIG SHAME!!!

Meanwhile he is just promoting his movie and gonna earn millions!

Well apologising is way better that losing your head under the guillotine. Any sensible person would know that!!! And then people are demanding an apology for something he said publicly which was wrong yet the fact that he refuses to apologise shows that he believes that he actually said nothing wrong. I hope his movie becomes a flop

Ya ya ya... Allyou really wanted & hoped to do was cover up another one of your brat son's faults... Apology was nothing but an attempt to avoid him getting into trouble... All you were concerned about was the fate of his film Sultan... That will it fail to get 100 crore due to this... That your bank balance will get affected...
Parents I thought correct their children when they go wrong, not start apologising on their behalf... let him take his share of punishing & learning! Complete mess all these people...

Will the courts jail you instead of your son if you offer to undergo sentence in his place? Same thing. Here media and people are reacting as he is a celebrity. Cant he himself express regret and apologize? Is it so difficut? Or is he too big to do so?

OK so Mr Salim Khan apologized on behalf of his son to make the problem "go away". Not because he thinks his son is wrong to say something so cheap. He says "To err is human" and asks people to forgive Salman who never forgave anyone who said a word against him. Instead he ruins their careers as a return gift. Mr Salim Khan should have taught his son to forgive before he preaches to the world about forgiveness. Anyway it was not up to him to apologize. The media is not at fault here, Salman is.

Then Arbaaz comes out and compares what his brother said to the line "working like a donkey" and suggesting that animal activists should take offence. That statement alone should make everyone realize what this family's mindset is. I rest my case!
