Glitter and glory are full on in the new season of Sony’s Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. The celebrities flaunt the stage of Jhalak with a brand new wardrobe, adding to the glamour quotient of the show. Mona Singh with her classy flowing gowns and Rohit in dapper suits are a perfect charm on the sets. The contestants, yet aren’t far behind. Dressed as though for a ramp walk, the contestants blend in really well with the glorified ambience.

Living the reel life all over again, the contestants enjoy the reality show with their jazzy costumes. Since most of the contestants are from the entertainment industry, they seem to be comfortable dancing in their new bright outfits. But one person, who cannot seem to truly fit in the make over, is none other than the Chak De captain - Mir Ranjan Negi. Out of the track pants to a dazzling salsa outfit, Mr. Negi cannot seem to adjust to the change. Pointing out to the bright orange shirt with sequins, Negi stated, “Never in my life have I worn clothes like these…”.

One can give Negi the benefit of the doubt, taking into consideration the athletic back ground he hails from. While Jai Bhanushali and Ronit Roy being small screen actors, joined by Mika Singh - a stage performer and Cyrus Broacha being a DJ on television and Aadesh from Bollywood, Negi might certainly feel as the odd man out. Well, the entertainment industry is surely filled with loads of glitter and glory and the sooner Mr. Negi gets used to shining as a rock star, the better…
