Is Adrija Roy replacing Megha Chakraborty in Imlie post leap? Actress reveals

Star Plus' show Imlie is all set to take a generation leap all over again. India Forums had exclusively informed you about Megha Chakraborty quitting the show post leap and new leads being introduced in the show. While there have been a lot of assumptions around the name of the actress that will be roped in to play the female lead in the show Post Leap, a few media portals have confirmed that Durga aur Charu fame Adrija Roy has been confirmed for the show and will be seen playing the female lead. 

India Forums got in touch with Adrija to confirm the same, and the actress said, ''Honestly, I cannot comment on it as of now. Things are still in the nascent stage. I will be able to comment on this by next week only. So, as of now, all I can say is, No comments!''

Adrija, who was last seen in Colors TV's show Durga aur Charu, a sequel to the very popular 'Barrister Babu', went off air after a few months of its run time. The show also starred Raachi Sharma and Kunal Jaisingh in the lead roles.

Talking about Imlie, there have also been speculations about Sai Ketan Rao being finalised for the show. In an exclusive conversation with us, Sai confirmed the news of being approached for the show and told us that he has been in talks about the same and that he has been approached for the show.
