Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar remembers him with a Poetic note; says the Rain Connects us!

Bollywood continues to mourn the loss of versatile actor Irrfan Khan who left for heavenly abode on April 29, 2020. Khan, who has even worked in several Hollywood films passed away on Wednesday morning due to colon infection after a prolonged illness. 

Meanwhile, Sutapa Sikdar, wife of late actor Irrfan Khan has been sharing throwback pictures for some time now. 

She recently shared another picture from their holiday from a picturesque location. She penned a note and said that the rain connected her to her late husband.

Sutapa shared the pictures and a video, as she wrote, “Thank you soooo much I hear you ...yes I know it’s from you to me and it touched my body and soul.. Between the two realms we have the rain connecting us.” 

The pictures featured Irrfan peeking from behind a patch of grass and enjoying himself in what looks like a lake.

Earlier, Irrfan’s son Babil, too treated fans to throwback pictures and videos featuring his father. Last month, Babil shared pictures from one of Irrfan’s visit to a farmhouse and wrote, “I thought might as well. Whenever it was farmhouse time for him, these kids and the school principal would show up to meet.”

Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor last February and he headed to London for his treatment. The actor underwent treatment for a year as he announced his diagnosis on social media.

Before Irrfan passed away, he lost his mother Saeeda Begum a week ago. While his mother’s last rites took place in Jaipur the Piku star attended the funeral through a video call given the nationwide lockdown imposed to combat COVID 19 outbreak in India. It was reported that Irrfan also missed the funeral owing to his ill health and wasn’t able to travel outside Mumbai.
