Initially, I felt Sumbul Touqeer isn’t meant for Bigg Boss 16 but now she’s playing well: Tabish Pasha

Bigg Boss 16 is getting quite interesting. The contestants are slowly and steadily coming out of their comfort zones and going all out in the game. Sumbul Touqeer Khan is one of the most talked about contestants in the show. While she looked quite promising, her game weakens as she grew closer to Shalin Bhnot and Tina Datta. However, with time, Sumbul is playing the game well and is coming out as a strong personality.

After ‘Imlie’, Sumbul and her friend and co-star Fahmaan Khan featured in a music video titled ‘Ishq Ho Gaya’ sung by Tabish Pasha. Tabish is great friends with Sumbul and Fahmaan. India Forums got in touch with Tabish and asked him his thoughts on Sumbul in Bigg Boss 16.

He said, “Initially, I felt Sumbul isn’t meant for a show like Bigg Boss. She is very simple and emotionally vulnerable. However, with time she has come out stronger and has started to play the game according to her thoughts and intelligence”.

Talking about the narrative of Sumbul having feelings for Shalin, Tabish said, “I know Sumbul from before and she is an extrovert. I’m close to the dancers’ community and Sumbul is also a dancer. She likes to hug people with a pure heart and that got misconstrued as she having feelings for Shalin, which isn’t true”.

When asked if he feels Shalin is a bad influence on Sumbul, he said, “Not really. I don’t feel it was Shalin’s deliberate attempt to manipulate Sumbul. That house is such and the changing dynamics are such that often things happen unintentionally”.

There have been a buzz regarding Fahmaan Khan entering the show and would interact with Sumbul. Talking about the same, Tabish said, “As far as I know, Fahmaan will promote his show in Bigg Boss 16 and might interact with Sumbul as well. However, I’m not sure as to when and how this will happen”.
