Indresh Malik of ‘Udaariyaan’: Ravi Dubey told me that he wrote the character of Amandeep only for me

Colors TV show ‘Udaariyaan’ has kept the fans hooked to the TV screens. The current track of the show revolves around Tejo knowing about Jasmine’s fake pregnancy and she was all set to reveal the same to the family. However, Jasmine played yet another smart game and gave the family a baby. Virk family now thinks that the baby is Amrik and Jasmine’s baby.

Recently, the show witnessed a shocking entry of popular actor Indresh Malik who plays the character of Amandeep in the show. Amandeep is Candy’s father and Simran’s ex-lover. Amandeep has an evil sight on Tejo.

India Forums got in touch with Indresh and asked him about his thoughts on being a part of the show. He said, “The producers of the show Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta are responsible for me to sign the show. They’ve showed immense support and confidence in me as an actor and had given me this character to play. They’re my friends and colleagues. We started our journeys in the industry together with Zee TV show 12/24 Karol Bagh. Ravi had told me that he will accommodate this character only if I would play the same. It really touched my heart”.

Talking about inputs that he gave to the character, he said, “Ravi gave me a free hand to formulate the character. I designed and chose costumes and accessories for the character which is quite important. The hair-style and mannerisms, I could absorb from my personal experiences with the help of the creative team around”.
