Indian Idol 6 gets high on the registration!

Sony TV's Indian Idol Season 6 hitting the small screen has become the talk of the town. Indian Idol which has been a brand for ages will once again surface with the three judges Anu Malik, Sunidhi Chauhan and Salim Merchant. Accompanying them will be the original Jodi of hosts who have electrified the stage,Hussain Kuwajerwala and Mini Mathur.

Yesterday, Anu Malik commenced the season at a flag off event where he shared, "There are many shows happening but there is something unique about Indian Idol. It's a brand that would never fade and never die."

When asked about what was new and unique this season, he says, "Firstly I would say, that in just 12 days we have got 54,000 registrations which is absolutely commendable. For the first time people can upload their videos on www.myindianidol.com. There is one more way to get an audition. You can just login to this site and record your voice. If we feel this is the voice we want to hear, we will find you and you would be called for the auditions."

"Our vans would also go to villages, so that if people cannot make it for the auditions, their unique voice can still reach us. We want to come up with a voice which is the public's voice, "adds Anu.
