'Ikyawann' NOT going off-air; but to take this show's time slot

Star Plus has been undergoing some major programming changes, and amidst those changes, there was news about many of the shows going off-air, including the likes of Ishqbaaaz, Naamkarann, Meri Durga and Ikyawann.

According to the news doing the rounds, Gul Khan's upcoming show Kulfi Kumar Bajewala will be replacing the recently gone on-air show Ikyawann. However, as per the earlier news, Ikyawann was said to go off-air, but that is not the case.

As per the latest reports, Ikyawann will be taking the time slot of Meri Durga, while the latter will be going off-air.

We contacted Namiesh Taneja, who said, "Yes I have heard about this as well but I am yet to received a confirmation from the channel."

why Star Plus shows are always centered only around saas-bahu crap? is there no other relationship exist on this planet? why this one dimensional approach to every story? they start every story stating NAYI SOCH in a couples of weeks it turns into saas-bahu drama. those who dare to show something different like JNDSD, DSJZ, KQHAK are shown door. Star Plus rightly deserves the plight it currently going through. Star Plus stop taking home audience for granted. we are not illiterate, illogical, ignorant, middle class house wives. we are those women who are standing by the side of our girls to pursue their dream careers. try to stand up to you tag line.

The show is right down stupid!!!

It was supposed to be about a tomboy but we are back to the hero torturing the heroine!!!!

How can people love this show? I saw a scene today where the hero instructs a dog to trouble his wife who is scared of dog to torture her but some other girl who is mentally challenged and his family enters the room and is troubled by that dog. The heroine even though scared of the dog somehow saves her but the hero still only cares that his plan failed. Is this what bring TRPs?
