Iconic film Dilwale Dulhaniya.... completes its 1000th week!

Adaa Khan seen in Pia Basanti Re on Sony Pal - DDLJ is one of the best films in Bollywood its a classic luv story. I love this film and seen it countless times. From first scene to last scene is my favorite, so to pick one is difficult. When Simran meets Raj for the first time in Europe, running behind the train, to last scene where Amrishji says Ja simran jee le apni zindagi, to Simran getting up in morning drunk and Raj making fun of her, to bade bade shero main aisi chooti chooti baatein hoti rehti hai. I guess after this movie every girl is looking for a Raj in their life. Lastly I want to Congratulate the entire team of DDLJ and I all miss Yash Chopra. I wish he was alive to make more such romantic films.


Giaa Manek who was seen in SAB TV's Jeannie Aur Juju - What I absolutely love about Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge is the character of Raj and the role of Simran. Songs and the performance by other actors are just cherry on the cake. The best scene in the movie which I personally love is when Raj comes down to meet Simran to her village. Simran gets nostalgic and dreams about the bell and later she realizes that Raj has actually come and he was ringing the bell. The way they hugged each other after parting was very heart warming. Besides Raj and Simran, I love Farida Jalal ji's character because the way she was left in a dilemma whether she should stand by her husband's beliefs or her with her daughter's love. She was stranded and toned between becoming a good wife and a good mother. Eventually, when she realizes that Raj is a good guy and he genuinely loves Simran, she asks her to run away with him.


Karan Patel who is currently seen in Star Plus' Ye Hai Mohabbatein - I love the church scene with Shahrukh and Kajol.


Akshay Dogra who was last seen in Life OK's Do Dil Ek Jaan - I remember like it was yesterday, I was still in school and went to watch it with a friend right after the school, we were still in our uniforms. The songs are still so fresh, the Europe bit, the whole Punjab bit. I think every frame of the movie is worth of the 1000 weeks its completed.


Kunwar Amarjeet Singh who is currently seen in Channel V's Dil Dosti Dance -

DDLJ is a movie for any guy and girl who fall in love, it's a perfect movie for couples. The dialogues and scenes were so catchy that its still fresh in people's mind. I still remember the dialogue by Shah Rukh Khan aise bade bade shehro mai aise choti choti batein hote rehte hai senorita.


Shrenu Parikh seen as Astha in Star Plus' Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon says - The whole fairytale feel that it had! The feeling of being loved like Simran was applauded by the masses. The feeling of miracles that happen is what I loved about the film. The songs, the chemistry all of it. The best scene is when Raj confesses his love and then starts laughing! All the characters are special in the film.
