'I wish there is peace and harmony around' - Ali Merchant

Ali Merchant was seen cheering the young students of MMK College of Mumbai, on their annual college fest day at the Khar Grounds on the 16th of December.

The actor who was present to judge the students at modeling, dancing and much more caught up with Telly Buzz and talked about the sudden terror attacks in Mumbai and on his New Year plans too.

“I feel honored to have been invited by the students for the fest. I am overwhelmed seeing the response from the kids”, quips Ali.

When asked about his plans for the New Year, Ali quickly replied, “We don’t plan to celebrate 31st December in a big way. The way the city is right now, people are just not in the mood to celebrate, and we shouldn’t really”.

He further stated, “The last party we had was on Sara’s birthday, and she has been totally busy after that. We might plan something together for the New Year’s eve, but certainly not anything big”.

Ali and his Baliye recently made an appearance as hosts in Nach Baliye. “It was superb to anchor such a big show. The best part was that we were appreciated by one and all. I love to anchor and would also like to fit in as anchor for a show”, says the actor on his experience.
On the road ahead, Ali says, “I am looking for something good and interesting. Hope something materializes soon”.

Lastly, when we asked him about his Wish List for the New Year, the actor spontaneously listed out, “I wish the recession ends soon. I wish to get a good project soon, and I also pray that there is peace and harmony around”.

We do wish like Ali, that the New Year brings with it peace and happiness for all!!
