I wish the show completes 1500 episodes before it bids adeiu

Devoleena Bhattacharjee who is seen in Saath Nibhana Saathiya on Star plus as Gopi Bahu, talks about the rumors of the show getting pulled off by December this year.

About the closure of the most popular show at the 7 pm slot says, "I have also heard about such rumors but I would like to clarify that nothing has been officially intimated to us as yet. Anyways we are doing our job,but yes, every show has a shelf life and I am sure one fine day it will end, but I just wish that the show at least goes on till 1500 episodes."

Talking about the lack of story ideas she opined,"I don't feel that way... the audience has accepted and appreciated the show quite well and it's quite popular at the 7 pm slot so I don't think that the makers will try to mess with it, but still every thing has an end so you never know!"

There has been constant comparison between Giaa Manek and Devoleena, and we asked the leading lady about her take on the replacing act and the current acceptance, "I am so happy that I am now accepted by the fans who actually hated me once, but the production house and my co-actors always encouraged me for my work. They were happy with my hard work. I would like to say Saathiya is my biggest responsibility and I will give 500 and more percent of my time and energy to it."

"Well I have met Giaa Manek once in Vishal Singh's birthday party and we greeted each other. We are mature actors and there is no cold war or any other war for that matter between us," she ends.
