"I will not take up any roles till the Ganpati festival"

The talented actor Himanshu Malhotra who was last seen in Rab Se Sohna Ishq on Zee TV and in Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage on Sony TV is in no hurry to sign any new shows at present and wants to concentrate on managing his father's business.

TellyBuzz got in touch with Himanshu Malhotra to know the reason behind him not signing any shows as of now.

When asked Himanshu about his absence from the screen he said, "I am not an eminent personality like Shah Rukh Khan to get offers at hand. I feel the market is down and many actors are not getting roles and so am I. I am also struggling to get good roles. I would also like to add that I am in no hurry to take up roles as of now as I am currently in Delhi taking care of my father's business and looking after it. After my father's demise, me being the elder son I had to take care of things and look after the business and thus I am not in Mumbai. I am in Delhi most of the times and I also reside there. Till the time I settle my dad's business I can't come to Mumbai, so I am not giving a thought of signing any new shows till Ganpati festival."

So what is Himanshu looking for post the Ganpati festival? "Post Ganpati I will be surely taking up something. I have no idea about what kind of roles I will have in my pocket but I am hoping that whatever comes my way I will be ready to take up as it's been quite a long time that I am not being seen on the screen."

Talking about his younger brother Mohit Malhotra he said, "He is doing well and I'm sure he will be doing well in his career. In case of any guidance and support I am always there to stand by him. Mohit always impresses people with his charming personality while my personality is bit stern so he steals the show always."

What has Himanshu thought about his future projects? "For my future projects I would like to say that, I haven't thought of anything! I am too busy managing my personal life as of now." he ended.
