I was skeptical to shoot the MMS sequence in ‘Nima Denzongpa’: Sonakshi Batra aka Manya

Colors’ show ‘Nima Denzongpa’ is getting the love from the viewers of the show. The show revolves around a north-eastern girl Nima coming to Mumbai for the love of her life. Her life takes a drastic turn and the show revolves around her struggle.

The current track of the show revolves around Suresh and Aai taking Nima’s help as they don’t have a roof over their heads.

Previously, the show had an important sequence which had Suresh and Nima’s daughter Manya getting trapped in an MMS trap. She goes for an audition which turns out to be a fraudulent. They edit the video to make it look like an MMS.

India Forums got in touch with Sonakshi who played the character of Manya in the show and asked her about her thoughts on the sequence, she said, “Honestly, as a new-comer, I was a little apprehensive about the same. I didn’t know how it will be shot and as a girl, I was skeptical as a large number of viewers will see it. However, the makers shot it aesthetically and made me comfortable for the same. The director and the DOP made sure that the sequence doesn’t seem obscene to be telecast on a national television. While I was scared initially, I was quite happy with the end result”.

‘Nima Denzongpa’ is produced by Peninsula Pictures. It has a stellar star cast including actors like Surabhi Das, Akshay Kelkar, Sonakshi Batra among others.
