I was a ‘Sadda Haq’ fan and was glad to do a show with Ankit Gupta: Rashmeet Kaur Sethi of ‘Udaariyaan'

Colors’ show ‘Udaariyaan’ is climbing the ladder of success rapidly. The show started off with comparatively less ratings but with progression in the story-line, the show has entered the TOP 5 list of most viewed shows across all television channels. The current track of the show revolves around Tejo finally giving up on Fateh and deciding to divorce him so that he can lead a happy life with Jasmine.

While the viewers will witness high voltage onscreen drama, India Forums gets you some interesting scoop about off screen bond between Ankit Gupta and Rashmeet Kaur Sethi, who plays the character of Mahi in the show. In a candid chat with us, Rashmeet revealed about her off screen camaraderie and first impression of Ankit. She said, “I had seen Ankit’s work in ‘Sadda Haq’. I really liked that show and was a fan. When I came to know about Ankit playing Fateh, I was glad to work with him and to know that I’ll be playing his younger sister".

She said, “When I first met Ankit, I felt he might have an attitude as he comes across as a person who doesn’t like to talk much with people but as and when I started to gel along with him, I realized he is quite cool, funny and witty. It’s fun to be around him. I remember the first day that we met, we chilled the entire day and towards the end of the day Ankit told me that I’m like his younger sister and that I should tie a rakhi to him. That really stayed with me. He treats me like a little sister and he is a brother figure for me. It’s fun to be around him”.
