I was a bit disheartened as Trilochan goes against Anirudh-Bondita in ‘Barrister Babu’: Rishi Khurana

Colors’ show ‘Barrister Babu’ has been getting a lot of love and adulations from the fans and viewers. The current track of the show revolves around Anirudh and Bondita eloping from the negativity of Tulsipur and Krishnanagar. They’re currently staying in Chandranagar as servants and have planned to get married soon. 

In the upcoming episode, it will be revealed that Chandrachur is Laboni’s brother and will be attending her wedding in Chandranagar. It will be interesting to witness what happens when he comes to know about Anirudh-Bondita being there.

While in the beginning of the show, Trilochan was the biggest support system for Anirudh and Bondita, with time the character has changed drastically and now Trilochan is completely against the lead pair. He has been the pillar for the couple in the initial phase. Viewers often miss the extremely positive and supportive side of Trilochan. India Forums got in touch with the actor Rishi Khurana who plays the character of Trilochan and asked him about the character graph from supporting Anirudh-Bondita to being against them. He said, “I also miss the initial phase, as an actor it’s fun to do different shades but we use to have lot of fun doing those scenes together and I certainly miss that trait of Trilochan’s personality”.

He added, “I know that sometimes, story needs tweaking to move on to next track, and characters need to be manipulated to serve the bigger purpose in the story, but I was still a bit disheartened in the beginning of the track, but then I realised, that I’ll have to explore more shades of Trilochan”.

We asked Rishi how he deals with the intense scenes in the show, he said, “I try to be as honest as possible in real and reel life. Yes, I do get many heavy scenes, so sometimes as an actor we do get little cynical, more sensitive, over thinkers ..but I like the adventures and glad that I manage to pull it off somehow".
