I was a big fan of ‘Superstar Singer’; mentoring in the same is overwhelming: Sayali Kamble

Following the overwhelming success of Superstar Singer season 1, Sony Entertainment Television is all set to bring another vibrant season of its homegrown kids' based singing reality show – Superstar Singer. Celebrating singing ka kal, Superstar Singer 2 will showcase some extraordinary little wonders from across the country with a unique sense of musical expression, dedication and passion. Grooming and mentoring this young singing talent will be a well-appointed panel of Captains. Joining Arunita Kanjilal and Pawandeep as the captain of Superstar Singer 2 will be Indian Idol Season 12’s finalist and popularly known as Bharat ki Beti – Sayli Kamble.

Known for her sweet and melodious voice, Sayli is someone who has seen an upward trajectory throughout the season of Indian Idol and now is all geared up to use her learning, experience and knowledge to train the young brilliant voices from across the country. 

Elated to be the captain, Sayli said, "Singing is my identity. Indian Idol was a starting point of my career and I owe it to the show and Sony Entertainment Television, as they have been an important pillar for my growth. I am really thankful to them for believing in me and giving me a fantastic opportunity to be the captain of one of the most prestigious singing talent show for kids. Superstar Singer season 1 left a mark in the minds of the entire country with the spectacular voices of the younger generation; I too was a big fan of the show. And, now getting a chance to mentor the ‘Singing Ka Kal’ is an overwhelming feeling for me. Making this journey more exciting is to be sharing the stage with my co-contestants from Indian Idol i.e. Pawandeep Rajan, Danish Khan, and Arunita Kanjilal as captains; can’t wait to start this new roller coaster ride with them. Also, I am extremely glad to be working with the talented Salman Ali, who has inspired me immensely. I have witnessed his struggle and seen how he has established himself as one of the best vocalists of his generation and I am glad to have got this chance to not only compete but also learn from him. I am all geared up to encourage young kids in an appropriate direction and instill confidence in their singing."
