I want to play Lord Krishna again - Vishal Karwal

Actor Vishal Karwal who was last seen on Jamai Raja as the antagonist is all set to make his big screen debut with none other than Vikram Bhatt’s next 1920: London.

We called up the actor who told us, “I was offered the film post Bigg Boss, but the shooting took time. Also, the graphics used in the film are high end so they too got time consuming. At times it would get tiring for me because it took me 5 hours for my makeup. Then I had to sit in the same get up for the whole day and shoot. In all, it has been a wonderful experience but also tiring as well. We shot in London and Leeds, the climax was filmed in Mumbai and a few parts have been shot in Gujarat as well.”

On why he took up a Horror flick for his Bollywood debut, he stated, "The film is being produced by Reliance and written by Vikram Bhatt. I have also been offered 8 films till now but they are small banners. I would rather wait for a good film with a nice banner rather than pick up small banner films."

So is he picky about his roles? "Yes, I am. I don't want to do 2-3 films and disappear. It's not that I will be quitting TV. Television is the main reason I am here today."

Vishal also revealed to us that has he wants to play the role of Krishna again. Vishal, who played Lord Krishna on Imagine TV’s Dwarakadheesh-Bhagwaan Shree Krishna, says that he is still stuck up on that role and would love to play that role again.

Ask him about his dream role and he says, "I would love to work in a rom-com film, something like Love Aaj Kal. My dream director is Imtiaz Ali. In terms of co-stars, I would love to work with Parineeti Chopra again. We did a Nivea commercial together and she is a pretty chilled out person. As for male co-stars, who would not like to work with Mr. Bachchan?
