After doing Pavitra Rishta, Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hain, Aparna Dixit who has gauged experience in acting, is all set to play a lead in another venture of Balaji Telefilms titled as Kalash-Ek Vishwaas on Life OK.
Here she shares something about her character, how is her experience working with Krip Suri and more...
How excited are you for this new venture?
I am very excited for the show and have lot of aspirations. While shooting, I have come across some really interesting scenes, so I feel that audience can easily relate to Devika. Sometimes, girls face discrimination being in the society and still they stay happy by crossing all those hurdles. Even I try to perform in a realistic way so that scenes look natural.
Share something about your character?
Devika belongs to a middle class family. She believes in Ambe Ma. Her way of believing and offering prayers to Ambe Maa is completely different from others, she considers her as a best friend with whom she can share every bit of her life. Her mom and dad have passed away, she stays with her Dadu and Dadi.
Being a girl she has always faced discrimination in her family. Her Dadi is very strict for her but Dadu and Chachi bothers for her. So, somewhere when she feels left out her Ambe maa fills that space for her.
What kind of bonding do you share with Krip Suri?
When I met him for the first time, I felt that he is a very serious kind of person but now we share a very cute bond. We keep on laughing on sets, I feel he is a very positive person and to seek advice from him is always good.
How is atmosphere on sets while shooting?
Dadi is a rock star she is completely different off screen than what she portrays on screen. She is a fun loving person and looking at her energy, I always feel inspired that at this age too she is so enthusiastic. My other co-stars are also positive and good to work with.
Does she feel lucky to be part of this show?Many dream of being a part of Balaji Telefilms and I respect this space in Balaji. Its all because of Ekta Ma'am's trust on me and blessings. People say that I am very fortunate and I want to fulfill all those expectations of people by proving my best with this show.
What do you have to say for viewers?
Viewers have been kind to me and has always appreciated my work. I want them to be my support system yet again in my new venture Kalash - Ek Vishwaas.

Friends, What history failed to do, this movie has done. It has succeeded to present the censored idea of 'sperm donation' as an acceptance in the Indian society without a 'Noise'... Ayushman is a multi talented guy, gifted. The movie is superb. For me its a total five. There are scenes that leave you rolling on the floor laughing,literally!! Then there are scenes when you cant help but shed a tear or two. Just loved the complete thing between vicky and the doctor. Yami gautum did a nice job. She has a natural flare. Beeji,dolly,Ashima's father and aunt. Every actor did the justice to their roles. Awesome !! Pani da is a mesmerising number. Ayushman sung soo well.

wow!! this is the feeling the movie left me with! the trailer hardly does justice to this amazing piece of work. A rather sensitive or to say taboo subject for indians was brilliantly portrayed that too in a comical manner. The dialogues were crispy and kept the story intact! Ayush, anu and yami were fantastic!! the rest of the cast were good too! I liked the lady playing Dolly and his grandma. The ending was cherry on the cake...it brought out the other side of sperm donation which people fail to see! Wish more movies were made and fresh talented faces given a chance to prove themselves!! John - hats off for taking the risk and having faith in ur script and the new actors!

finally watched it 2day.it was an amazing film.it was a real fun watching it.ayushmaan nd yami were just gr888.everything about this film is just too gd.be it its story,direction,script,acting everything.

ever since i saw the promo i knew i wanted to catch this movie.. cheeky lifestyle humor.. dont rem one of that niche come around ever since khosla ka ghosla. and while am glad the movie lives up to the promise.. i am pleasantly surprised at the quality of the review.. did not expect such vocabulary on IF considering the general quality of the tellybuzz articles. kudos to the writer.
