I never thought in my wildest dream that I could pull of a comic character like ‘Vaijanti’: Anchal Sahu

With a heavy heart the audience bid and adieu to the Colors popular show ‘Barrister Babu’. The show had a happy ending with Anirudh and Bondita staying happily ever after with their twin babies.

India Forums got in touch with actress Anchal Sahu who played the character of grown-up Bondita in the show and asked her about her favorite track from the show, she said, “I will never forget the ‘Vaijanti’ track. It will always be close to my heart. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I will be able to pull of a comic character like that of Vaijanti since it had a lot of comedy in it and comedy is generally difficult to pull off. During that track, I learned a lot and it was a lot of fun. The entire journey of ‘Barrister Babu’ has been very enriching. I would learn something new each day. I got to feel so many emotions and portray so many feelings. I feel blessed to have bagged the show in which I got to learn so much”.

Speaking about the show going off-air, Anchal had said, “Well, it was definitely shocking for us to know that the show is getting pulled off. We did think that the TRPs should increase, but never did anyone thought that the show will be axed so soon. I think, a lot of tracks are left unexplored. There was a lot of things that could’ve been shown and I believe that the show didn’t deserve to go off-air so soon. It’s totally unexpected”.
