Rohan Shah is one actor who has gained immense popularity in the industry at a very young age! He started his career at the tender age of 6 and has already worked for commercials, popular television shows like Bade Acche Lagte Hain and Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar, theatre and films like Krrish 3.

Today Tellybuzz takes the opportunity to get chatty with the lad and know more about his personal life!

You have been a part of both Bollywood and Television. Which medium do you enjoy more?

I believe every medium has its pros and cons. I have been a part of a lot of commercials, short films, theater, Bollywood movies and Television shows and I must say that each and every medium has taught me something or the other. With regards to television, it has taught me how to be spontaneous.

You have now got the fame which comes a hard way for actors normally. Are you happy?

My aim was never to be famous. I started my journey with television 6 years back and I have been acting for like 15 years. When I get complimented for my acting, I still get surprised and elated as I never aspired or expected myself to be famous.

What keeps you so focused and grounded?

I think when actors are struck with sudden fame, they tend to go haywire and forget how much they worked hard for reaching where they are and the people who supported them when they needed help. Fame to me has come gracefully and I know all what matters is my work and that is the primary reason why people love me and credit me. ;

What kind of roles attract you?

I am kind of bored playing the brother - son roles. There is lack of good scripts which focus on teenage life. I would love to be a part of such a show. Infact, I even choose commercials and short films where I get to play my age but such venture are hardly churned out.

Are you content with your character in Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar?

Yes, very much. In every show, actors usually reach a point where they crib about how their character is progressing. But I have no regrets playing Agam as it is a pivotal character and I am happy with the way I am contributing to the show.

How is your equation with Ronit Roy? He must be giving you tips too...

Ronit Roy is fun to be with. I love sharing screen space with him. I would like to share that Ronit Roy has been complimenting me a lot on the sets and he often tells the unit 'Mein pehle din se bol raha tha ki yeh ladka bahut talented hai.' There are times when we are shooting in different units and he comes specially to compliment me for a particular scene which has been telecasted and he happened to watch it.

So when we shoot together, he gives me tips on experimenting with the way I convey my dialogues'.

What do you enjoy doing besides acting? Your hobbies...

I have been a part of Boogie Woogies' (Sony TV) two seasons and I really enjoy dancing. Apart from that I write poems for my personal satisfaction.
