“I married my best friend!” admits India’s Best Dancer 3 Judge Sonali Bendre

Sony Entertainment Television is back with the third season of India's Best Dancer and viewers cannot keep calm! Starting 8th April at 8 pm, the show will see dance enthusiasts from across the nation put their best foot forward in the audition round to impress the E.E.N.T (Entertainment, Emotion, Newness & Technique) specialists - Judges Sonali Bendre, Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapur. Amidst all the spectacular dance acts, two contestants from Delhi – Norbu and Sushmita Tamang, will not only impress the judges with their electrifying dance moves but also with their cute chemistry. 

Norbu and Sushmita claim to be ‘just best friends’ & consider each other to be their lucky charm. The duo performed solo freestyle performances on ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ from Tiger Zinda Hai and ‘Kinna Sona’ from Phone Bhoot, leaving the judges spell bound! 

When asked about their ‘cute chemistry’ and ‘relationship status’, Norbu shares that he met his best friend Sushmita in Mumbai at a dance battle and their bond grew as they started practising dance together. In addition to this, when Norbu will go on to appreciate Sushmita by mentioning things he likes about her, Geeta Kapur would turn to her co-judge Sonali Bendre and ask if her best friend appreciated her like this. Responding to this, Sonali Bendre says, "I married my best friend!" 

Sonali Bendre further shared, "I think Goldie should shower me with more praises, it's been so long since he has done it! (laughs). Years back, even we were just like Norbu and Sushmita; and this is exactly what used to happen when I was also like Sushmita and I would say, "he is my best friend and we would stay as best friends", but Norbu, Goldie was very persistent! So I am giving you a hint! Eventually, I married him." Sushmita would then say that she too likes many of her "best friend's" qualities with one of his best attributes being, "Whatever I say, he listens to me!", making everybody laugh.

Among the leg-pulling and teasing, the apprehension would be if both these extraordinary dancers and best friends make it to the 'Mega Auditions' or will their journey come to a nigh?
