I made sure the portrayal of Nargis was strong enough to stay on the audience's mind: Taali fame Sheetal Kale

Actress Sheetal Kale is currently in buzz for her magnetic portrayal of Nargis in the newly released web show Taali, a biopic of transgender activist Shree Gauri Sawant. Sheetal's phenomenal performance in her OTT debut series echoed loudly and captivated the eyeballs of the audiences. Recently, in a chat with us, the talented actress talked about her character, experience and the feedback she has been receiving.

Sheetal says, "When I was given the character of a Nargis, I decided to seamlessly meld into the skin of my character to bring to life. I made sure that the portrayal of the same was so strong that it remained in the minds of the audience."

Sheetal's performance in the web show is receiving abundance of praise from the audience. When asked about the feedback, she says, "My phone is buzzing with the positive messages from the people who have watched the series. I am so happy to see that a few of my dialogues from the series are going viral on the internet. My friends and family members are also loving the way I represented Nargis. All I can say is I am grateful and thankful to everyone for showering me with this kind of love."

On the workfront, in 2013, Sheetal started with Karma Kala Manch Theatre, Mumbai and then progressed to the films Atal Faisla 2018 and Jai Chhati Maa (2020). The actress made her OTT debut with the series Taali.
