I have decided to get married on the beach in swimming trunks: Ankit Bathla

Actor Ankit Bathla, who is currently seen as Dhruv on Colors' popular show Thapki...Pyaar Ki, is enjoying a good fan following.

Ankit is quite happy with the appreciations he is getting for his character of Dhruv from his fans. In a candid chat with TellyBuzz, Ankit shares more about it, the current wedding drama on the show and much more...

"I had gone to the production house and I quickly auditioned for the role of Dhruv. I was called for mock shoot the same day in the evening. Coming back to Colors and working with an amazing production house makes me really happy. Thapki has given me a lot of love and appreciation from the fans and I am so grateful for that. We all are like a small family on the sets as we hardly get to go home. We love to chit chat and dance during our free time on sets which is rare."

Currently, the wedding drama is high on the show. When we asked Ankit about it, he said, "The marriage sequence was exciting as it felt like my real wedding. However, I have decided to get married on the beach in swimming trunks after shooting with those heavy clothes in the heat."

When we asked Ankit about the current track in which Thapki (Jigyasa Singh) is getting married to someone else than Dhruv, he told us, "This is a start of a new journey and there are a lot more twists to come. Dhruv will never leave Thapki's hand as he has promised."
