With charming looks and outstanding acting skills, Shivin Narang has been able to win millions of hearts. The actor is currently seen in the show Veera on Star Plus which is all set to bid adieu to the television.
Tell us about your journey in Veera?
It was wonderful; I can't express it in words. I remember when I chose to play the character of Ranvi, the first thing which came to my mind was will audience love me the way they loved Bhavesh (Bhavesh Balchandani). It was really challenging for all of us to take the show forward after the leap because the kids took the show on a very high level with their outstanding work and we had to maintain that level. The entire cast was new except the few who where there from the start. But gradually we all became like a family and the audience accepted us open heartedly. Many guests came and went in the show, but our bond remained strong. I have lots of beautiful memories to cherish!
How has show changed your life?
I have become everyone's 'Veerji' (laugh). Apart from jokes I have really gotten a lot of recognition from this show as compared to my previous shows. I have done Surveen Guggal before which was a youth based show where all the teenage girls like me, but after Veera, even their mothers and grandmothers have liked me. Trust me it's a huge achievement for me!
Are you unhappy with the fact that the show is going off air?
Well as its said all good things must come to an end and so did our show. I am not at all unhappy with the news because the show started with a motto which has been accomplished and it makes no sense by stretching the show unnecessarily. I am happy that till the show was on, people really like it and appreciated us for our work.
As per the media reports, the show is going off air due to the tiff between Farnaz Shetty and Digangana Suryavashi. How true is it, whats your take on it?
It's completely false and you can't blame anyone because a show is made of many people and not one or two. So it's completely foolish to blame a few. The show had its script which has been completed and hence the show is going off air.
Whats next in the pipeline after Veera?
As of now, I haven't thought of anything. I am getting many offers but I want to take my time and then only come to a conclusion.
Will you all miss your favorite Shivin Narang?
