Vishal GandhiHe is good looking and charming. He is not scared to try out new roles that challenge him. Tellybuzz in talks with Vishal Gandhi...

You played Kabir in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani and are currently playing Aniket in " Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum' on Star Plus. How difficult was the switch?

For an actor, it's hard to play different characters. I played a 20 year old boy in PKYEK and now a 24 years old guy. I love playing different characters and roles and it is a good experience.

You are a married man, what does your wife think of your female fan following?
We both are mature enough to understand that it is part of the profession - So it's all cool, but I do have a lot male following also (laughs!).

What's your favorite movie of all time and why?
I love Maine Pyaar Kiya as Salman Khan is my favourite actor.I still love the movie.

How many hours a week do you spend watching TV?
I hardly get time. I have morning shifts- So, I get up early in the morning and get home late. I'm so tired so I just grap some dinner and go to sleep.

Has a television show ever moved you to tears?
Not really. I am part of TV and I know how it is behind camera. There are certain parts that have touched me but I dont like to cry. While shooting I can get emotional sometimes, like I had this scene where my onscreen brother and sister hug me and I don't have a brother or sister otherwise so it was really touching. I always say that I wish I had siblings. Being part of shooting such scenes sometimes you get emotional but after watching on TV, it's like yah I know what I did.

What was your favorite book as a child and why?
I have not read many books but I loved reading comics. I read a book on a friend's recommendation "The Secret" - it was a good book. I dont have a selection of books or writers.

Are you a good dancer?
I think I'm a good dancer but I would say I am a copycat. I personally don't follow steps, but enjoy dancing.

When on a date, do you think the guy should pay or not?
In today's time there is no discrimination between a girl or a guy. Everyone earns, and just because you are a guy doesn't mean you have to pay, especially if your date wants to pay for her. I would pay but if my date says that she wants to pay for herself then I won't disagree and hurt her feelings.
