I get protective towards Alice Kaushik: Shalini Kapoor Sagar on bond with ‘Kahan Hum Kahan Tum’ co-actress

Star Plus show ‘Kahan Hum Kahan Tum’ has been loved by many. The show had actors like Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim and Karan V Grover as leads. The story of the same revolved around a romantic connection between a Punjabi actress and a Sindhi doctor.

Actress Alice Kaushik who has gained fame with her stint in ‘Pandya Store’ was also a part of the show. She played the character of Dipika’s on-screen sister ‘Pari’. Shalini Kapoor Sagar played the character of Karan’s mother. The actresses connected pretty well during course of the shoot. The bond didn’t just end with the show. They continued to be in touch with each other.

In a candid chat with India Forums, Shalini exclusively revealed about her bond with Kaushik. She said, “While we shoot for each show, we tend to connect with one person more than the rest. It was Alice for me during ‘Kahan Hum Kahan Tum’ days. We bonded really well and I’m glad that Alice stayed connected with me even post the show ended”.

She added, “My elder sisterly instinct gets activated whenever I see new girls in the industry. I feel like protecting them. When I entered the industry, I didn’t have anyone to protect me and thus I don’t want the same to happen with these young girls and I always get the instinct to take them under my shadow and protect them. The same happened with Alice. She looks up to me and seek my advice and suggestions whenever necessary and I feel great if I am able to add a little value to her decision making. She’s doing pretty well and I wish she gets everything that she deserves”.
