I get excited to perform intense scenes: Priyanka Chaudhary aka Tejo of ‘Udaariyaan’

Colors’ show ‘Udaariyaan’ is riding high on success. The show has slowly and steadily winning hearts and have climbed up to in the TOP 3  most viewed show on Indian Television. Actors Priyanka Chaudhary, Isha Malviya and Ankit Gupta are getting a lot of appreciations for their characters Tejo, Jasmine and Fateh respectively. The current track of the show revolves around Jasmine leaking Tejo’s college papers which will adversely affect Tejo’s career and will also affect the honour of Virk’s family name.

In the previous episode, Tejo had an emotional breakdown as she wasn’t able to deal with the humiliation that the principal did. Fateh consoled her and motivated her that she can still handle the situation by setting up new question paper and he would look after the distribution and printing of the same. Tejo played by Priyanka Chaudhary was extremely convincing in her emotional scene.

In a candid chat with India Forums, Priyanka opened up stating that she gets excited to perform heavy and intense scenes. She said, “When I get to know that I have some heavy and intense scenes, I get extremely excited. I get all pumped up to do such scenes as there’s a lot of scope of performance in these scenes. I don’t do a lot of preparations for the same. I just thoroughly read it and while performing the scene, the creatives and directors always help with their inputs and that’s how I’m able to deliver intense scenes”.

Talking about the feedback from fans Priyanka added, “My DMs are flooding with great compliments from the fans. It’s over whelming. Sometime back, fans were a little upset to see the docile and fragile Tejo but now she’s as strong as a rock and is giving it back to other and taking a firm stand for herself which people are really appreciating”.
