'I don't want to be a star but I want to be an actress' - Shivshakti

Shivshkati is focused and at a very young age has achieved popularity and stardom. Tellybuzz spoke to her to know what keeps her going...

You have done roles like Bebo in Sabki Laadli Bebo to Pinky in Afsar Bitya – Two totally opposite roles. What are you more comfortable doing?

Whatever I do I feel comfortable doing it, that's why I do that role. Both the roles are equally important for me and that's why I did them.

You are currently also seen in a Disney show called Karan & Kabir. Tell us about it?

Its a comedy family show and a remake of American show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. I play the role of Rani in the show, the same role of London in the American version. Rani is beautiful and funny but she doesn't use her brain. It's fun and I enjoy playing the role of Rani. 

How is the atmosphere on the sets –it's such a "crazy" show?

It's a very cool family environment. We enjoy a lot and do a lot of masti with the kids. The Disney team is really good.They look after us and take care of our working hours, food and make sure we get rest. It's not a normal daily show, so there are limited hours of working . It is shot three months in advance so we don't have to shoot for next day's episodes.

You are very young but have achieved a lot. Anything still you want to try?

One thing I have always said is that I don't want to be star but an actress. So I still have to achieve that.

How did you celebrate your birthday this year, which was yesterday?

We celebrated it at 12 clock at night. Table was decorated with all pink and cake. My favorite gift this year was my new mobile phone and at night we went out for dinner.
