"I don't want 'Ek Deewaana Tha' to EXTEND after completing its run" -Vikram Singh Chauhan

Sony TV's much-awaited romantic-thriller Ek Deewaana Tha is all set to launch in a few days and the fans couldn't have been more excited about it.

In a recent interaction with Vikram Singh Chauhan, who plays Vyom in the show, we had a chat about the show being a finite series and if or not it would be extended later owing to several reasons.

Recently, Beyhadh faced a similar thing where after achieving the number of desired episodes, the show witnessed an extension of almost 2 months.

Whether or not that hampers the storyline, we asked Vikram about his thoughts on what if the same happens with Ek Deewaana Tha later.

To this, Vikram said, "Personally, I wouldn't want that to happen. Because that means that you are stretching a crisp story which are just fillers and nothing else. I want this show to continue being a quality show, which is what the idea is. Just for ratings and popularity, I think one shouldn't play with the story and its authenticity and, end it where it was intended to end."
