I don’t mind going down on knees for a guy, if I fall in love: Debattama Saha on a sequence in ‘Mubarak Ho'

Star Plus show ‘Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani’ has shut shop long back but the lead pair of Shaurya and Anokhi played by actors Karanvir Sharma and Debattama Saha still manage to make the fans go all frenzy. The couple is massively loved by the viewers and their pairing has worked wonders. So much so that the duo has been approached for many music videos.

They recently launched a music video titled ‘Mubarak Ho’ wherein they played the characters of Naina and Neil respectively. The love story revolved around a break-up. Naina shows Neil the invitation card of her engagement which makes Neil extremely angry and he raises his hand on her leaving her distraught. In a fit of rage, she decides to move on and get engaged to the guy. Neil ends up at the engagement ceremony leaving Naina nervous. While fans feel that they wouldn’t get back together, a twist waits for them as Naina slaps Neil and goes down on knees to propose to him.

In a candid chat with the bong beauty Debattama Saha, we asked the gorgeous actress about breaking many stereotypes with the last proposing sequence in the song, Debattama said, “Well, I found it very cute and why not. I mean, why are only boys expected to go on the knees? Why can’t females do that? I wouldn’t mind going down on the knees and propose to someone if I fell in love. It is a very sweet gesture and everybody deserves to be felt special. I personally loved that moment between Naina and Neil and when I was told about the same, I was quite excited and took some time to prep myself for the sequence”.
