"I do not support size zero figure"

Jayashree VenketaramananJayashree Venkataramanan who is very well known as Nanhi of Sudhir Sharma's Sunshine Productions popular daily soap Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kahan Season 2, talks about her fitness regime and inspires us to follow a healthy diet. TellyBuzz got in touch with the pretty actress to know her 'Stay Fit' mantra
What does fitness mean to you? What's your idea of fitness?

Fitness does not mean dieting to me. I love eating and I don't stop myself from having anything. But yes, I do exercise to balance with whatever I have eaten. I jog for at least 1 hour a day and I also go to the gym. If I am very busy and cannot jog for an hour than I see to it that I at least remove half an hour from the day and jog it out. So also I avoid eating after 7pm as my food does not get digested if I eat after that particular time. I drink lots of water throughout  the day. I have got a habit to have fruits nowadays and would like to thank my co-actor Siddharth Arora from Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 2 who made this habit of eating fruits during intervals. I have made it a point of having fruits one whole day and avoid having food that day.

Are you conscious about your food choices?

No not at all, I eat whatever I like.

Three things you do every day to remain fit.

1) Jogging

2) Drinking Carrot juice

3) Drinking lots of water.

What is your take on the size zero figure craze among the girls?

I do not support size zero figure at all. Nowadays many of the girls skip their food to come down to size zero as they think that looks really hot, but well that is not right at all. One should not do dieting to an extent that it harms you later when you grow older.

Is there any sport you are skilled at?

I was very much skilled into Badminton from school days. It was my favorite hobby as a child and in a way it used to help me stay fit too.

A celeb body you admire?

Kareena Kapoor. I find her in a perfect shape and she looks hot!

What is your fitness secret?

I have no fitness secret except eat what you like but exercise it out.

A fitness tip for your fans.

Take out at least 15 minutes from your daily regime and go for a walk or jogging. So also drink lots of water in a day.
