I cried a lot; Nakuul & Disha comforted me: Sneha Namanandi on character exit from 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2'

Sony TV show ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2’ is all set to take a dramatic turn. The story has been fast paced and there’s a lot in store for the viewers. The current track of the show revolves around Ram learning about Priya’s mother’s involvement in his father’s death. Ram and Priya are facing the test of time. Priya is adamant on not letting the circumstances affect her married life with Ram while Ram is shell-shocked to know the truth.

In the upcoming episodes, as disclosed in the precap, Shivina is set to lose her life. Shivina will fall off the staircase and will die while Priya will be arrested in her murder charges. Actress Sneha Namanandi has wrapped up her shoot from the show as her character will soon exit. India Forums got in touch with the actress and asked her about her thoughts on the track.

When asked about her reaction on learning about Shivina’s death, Sneha said, “It was definitely difficult for me to fathom it. The creative team was also felt a little set-back while informing me about the same. It surely was emotionally taxing and I was left in tears as I’m quite an involved actress. On the sets, nobody could differentiate Sneha from Shivina as I’d stepped into the character so well. It was difficult for me to bid adieu to the entire unit that has now become my family. I was feeling a lot of anxiety before the scene but Nakuul, Disha and other actors who've grown to become a family, really comforted me and made me feel better; post delivering the scene, I was feeling better”.

She added, “I have done such scenes earlier too, but with this show, it got difficult as I was there in the show from the beginning. It has been nine months now and we’ve grown quite thick and it was hard to think that the show is on, other actors would come on sets but not me. Having said that, I’m sure the decision has been taken in the best interest of the show and I hope the twist brings along a positive change”.

Talking about feedback from fans, Sneha said, “Well, I’ve been receiving a lot of messages on social media. Fans are upset as Shivina won’t be seen in the show. I feel blessed to have gained so many well-wishers (smiles).”
