"I cannot do cliched fiction shows as I find them regressive and outdated."- Shekhar Suman

Shekhar Suman is undoubtedly a very good comedian and the man has proved his worth my much loved popular shows like Dekh Bhai Dekh, Reporter, Main Anari Tu Anari and Andaz.

Now as he gears up to judge SAB TV's upcoming Comedy Superstars, we speak to Shekhar on his plans ahead.

He stated, "Anything which can keep the audience engaged is an entertainer in my view and that is exactly what we will focus on. The contestants will win he coveted title of being Comedy Superstars because there will be a lot of challenges put forth to them apart from just performing as a comedian."

While his talk show Movers & Shakers gained popularity, Tellybuzz asked him about his plans to come up with another season of the show.

Shekhar said, "I would definitely love to come up with another season of Movers & Shakers but it is time consuming and requires a lot of in-depth study. It requires me to devote a lot of time. The reason why this show was started was because we need to highlight the political aspects of our country. The views expressed are not only mine but a collective opinion of what our society thinks about social and other political issues."

Now as the actor is back on television, we asked him if he would ever be a part of a fiction based show. His answer surprised us!

The actor averred, "I cannot do cliched fiction shows as I find them regressive and outdated. But I would love to be a part of anything which is fresh and new in the fiction space."
