'I can take revenge on Abhijeet for winning Indian Idol'- Rahul Vaidya

The suave and handsome runner-up of Indian Idol 1 Rahul Vaidya returns with another reality show. And not as a host, but as a contestant, this time on STAR Plus’ Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar. Telly Buzz caught up with the singer to know more…

When asked why another reality show, Rahul says, “I am here just to have fun. It’s not another reality show for me. I just want to enjoy and have a good time while singing. Winning or losing does not matter to me.” And how does it feel being pitted against Abhijeet Sawant again? “Well now I can take my revenge on him for winning Indian Idol”, says Rahul with a naughty smile on his face. He adds, “But jokes apart, it’s great to be back and share the stage with him again. And although we are pitted against each other, I plan to enjoy myself a lot. It was great fun singing with him then, and it will definitely be fun now too.”

Apart from singing Rahul tried his hand at anchoring too, so what does he have to say about that? Rahul quips, “I have enjoyed my entire journey. Not just as a singer but as an anchor too. And I want to try my hand at everything, not just singing. This is a industry where you can explore yourself and I want to do the same. I want to try everything right from singing to dancing to acting.”

Well as Rahul gets set to enjoy himself, we are sure his fans will definitely enjoy themselves hearing him sing once more.
