I can relate to my character:Tanima Sen

Tanima Sen is excited about her debut on the small screen.

SwaraginiTanima Sen is a popular face of the Bengali film industry. With Swaragini she is excited to make her debut in the Hindi television industry

Here is Tanima talking about her character, her work background and more.

Talking about her character she says, "I can relate to my character a lot,so I didn't need to make any effort to essay this character. The unit of Swaragini is amazing, all of them help me to understand things. When I was approached for this show I told them that I don't know to speak Hindi but they told me that they wanted a character who speaks Hindi like me, with a Bengali accent. That is when I agreed to do the show. Here my daily routine is to write my script in Bengali and then I say the dialogues with my understanding."

Being here Tanima misses Kolkata but still enjoys a lot, "I miss Kolkata a lot but here I get that feeling of being in Kolkata because of the set up. This show portrays the culture of Kolkata and while shooting if there is a mistake anywhere in showing the culture of Kolkata I correct them, thus there is a very good bonding."

Lastly she says, "I am a part of the Kolkata film industry since a very long time. I have produced and directed a film which was a big hit in Kolkata. That film got many awards, people from Kolkata tell me that they like watching me onscreen so I hope that people here also say the same thing."
